With over 27 years of experience, Michael has received numerous awards for his outstanding sales performance. He holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation—an achievement earned by only 4% of REALTORS® nationwide. In addition, he has been awarded the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist® (CLHMS) designation and earned both the Million Dollar Guild® and Guild Elite® recognition for his expertise and success in the luxury market. Michael is a licensed real estate broker in New Mexico with Sotheby’s International Realty in Santa Fe. “I get the best of both worlds, selling real estate in the Northern and Southern Rocky Mountains—two of the most beautiful regions in the world,” he says. Originally from the Bay Area and raised north of Dallas, Michael began visiting Montana at age five to escape the Texas heat. Over time, Bozeman, the Gallatin Canyon, and the Valley became part of his life, ultimately drawing him back. After 16 years in Santa Fe, he and his family relocated to Montana in 2011. “You only get one shot at life, and I didn’t want to wait until it was too late to live in Big Sky Country.” While Michael no longer resides in Santa Fe, he maintains a strong network of trusted agents and personally connects his Santa Fe buyers and past clients with the right REALTOR®—acting as a true matchmaker. Michael has traveled extensively both locally and abroad, often sharing these experiences with his children. His journeys have taken him to Hong Kong, Japan, China, the Czech Republic, Mexico, France, Italy, England, the Netherlands, Canada, the Caribbean, and multiple trips to Costa Rica and Spain. He and his wife celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Spain’s Basque Country—one of the most memorable experiences of his life. In his free time, Michael enjoys life in Montana with his wife of 32 years, their six children, three grandchildren, and a love for the outdoors. His passions include fly fishing, hunting, downhill skiing, mountain biking, and hiking the breathtaking Montana countryside.
