Prior to her decision to move into real estate, Cortnee was an account executive for Diane von Furstenberg, Inc., working with major department stores in the United States and Canada. The same qualities that helped her achieve success in the fashion industry have contributed to her achievements in real estate.
Complementing natural sales and analytic abilities, this early background prepared her to think creatively about clients' properties and find new ways to maximize a listing's exposure. Cortnee attended the Horace Mann High School, where she is currently an active member of the Alumni Council. She went on to receive her BA in advertising from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
