Description

If there’s one thing that sets Clay Brants apart, it’s experience. Clay, with his partner Laurie Brants, has transacted more than $1 billion of real estate through 3,500 transactions in the last ten years. With his expert knowledge and ability to connect with clients, Clay is ready to guide clients through their next transactions and be their life-long real estate resource. Clay specializes in waterfront homes and the Rivercrest and Westover Hills neighborhoods, as well as small commercial properties and infill development. A native of Fort Worth, Clay is well versed in the city’s unique housing landscape and is a Certified Urban Expert. “I love showing people the diverse offerings,” says Clay. “DFW has a small-town feel but is loaded with world-class opportunities.” For nearly thirty-five years, Clay Brants of Brants Group has been helping clients purchase and sell real estate in and around Fort Worth. Clay’s experience and expertise allow him to connect and develop lasting relationships with clients, making him extremely effective at navigating the complexities of real estate transactions. Leading with integrity and a client-first mentality, his referral-based business has given him the opportunity to work with the same families for years, serving multiple generations. In the late 1990’s Clay consolidated ownership of his family’s real estate brokerage, Brants Realtors, Inc., Est. 1926. He and his wife, Laurie, ran the business until merging with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in 2015. Since joining forces with Sotheby’s, Clay has been able to re-focus on what he loves most about real estate: building client relationships and managing transactions. Born in Fort Worth, Clay moved to Australia in third grade and made stops in Sydney N.S.W., Houston, TX, Canaan, NH, and completed high school in Alexandria VA, just outside of Washington DC. He attended college at the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce. Clay returned to his hometown in the late 1980s to pursue a career in commercial real estate but quickly realized that helping people buy and sell homes was infinitely more rewarding.
