With a passion for the growth of this great city and especially the revitalization of downtown, Debra’s over 40-year history in San Antonio real estate makes her an agent with dedication, knowledge and approachability.
Debra's personal interest in center city real estate, traditional neighborhoods and especially downtown San Antonio led her to found Centro Properties in 1978 which she owned and operated until 2024, specializing in leasing, property management and sales. Over twenty years ago, Debra joined the exclusive team of Kuper Sotheby's International Realty as a Broker Associate, where she highlights properties that include modern high-rise condominiums, desirable historic neighborhoods and living within a mixed-use space full of premier dining, shopping, and the arts. Debra navigates transactions seamlessly through demonstrated market knowledge and strategic negotiation skills.
Recognizing the importance of history and culture in her city, Debra is committed to involvement with organizations that improve the quality of life in San Antonio.
Debra is a strong patron of the arts, sitting on the board of the SOLI Chamber Ensemble, whose focus is bringing modern classical music to San Antonio. She is a long-time trustee of The Awesome Foundation and a sponsor of Pecha Kucha, both of which highlight the talents of San Antonio’s creative citizens.
Debra was a member of the Board of the Centro Alliance for over 10 years, where she shared her expertise leading its popular annual Urban Spaces Tour. As a host for SERVAS, an international peace organization, Debra opens her home to international guests interested in the heritage and culture of San Antonio.
Debra and her husband Tonio raised two wonderful sons who reflect their parents' interests in business and culture. Niccolo was an undergraduate at The Juilliard School and earned his Doctorate of Musical Arts from Cornell University. He teaches composition and theory at The Juilliard School in Tianjin, China. Benjamin was an undergraduate at The University of Texas at Austin and earned a Master of Business Administration from Rice University. He is a private wealth manager in Houston, Texas.
