Lisa Karam is a full-time real estate professional with Sotheby's International Realty in Ogden Valley, Utah. Born in Bethesda, Maryland, Lisa has degrees in marketing and organizational management from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Lisa brings 30 years of real estate experience to Sotheby’s International Realty. After a 14-year career as an executive in the retail industry in the Washington, DC area, Lisa moved to Northern Utah to develop real estate. She spent nearly 30 years developing and selling real estate in the resort area of Ogden Valley, the home of Powder Mountain and Snowbasin ski resorts, and Pineview Reservoir.
In addition to being a top producing broker, Lisa has earned several elite designations, which allow her to maximize her service to her clientele, including:
ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative: training in representing buyer’s interests exclusively.
CLHMS - Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist: Guild Member- Awarded by the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing to brokers who have demonstrated competency in the upper tier market.
RSPS - Resort and Second Home Property Specialist: demonstrating expertise and understanding in buying and selling property in a resort market such as Santa Fe.
REALM - REALM Global Network: Founding member of the invitation-only global network of luxury property brokers selling worldwide.
Outside of her professional life, she has been extremely active in community affairs. Lisa co-founded the Ogden Valley Business Association and was past Chair of boards of the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce, The Ogden-Weber Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Ogden Valley Land Trust board, the Weber County Tourism Tax Advisory Board and the Ogden Valley Adaptive Sports board.
Lisa and her husband Walt are avid skiers and sailors and exemplify all the aspects of living the Ogden Valley Lifestyle.
