I am an Idaho native and I love it here! I grew up in Sun Valley, ID and have lived in many different areas of the US, including Virginia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. I came to understand the nuances to the different regions and why our area is so special. After working in commercial real estate in Pennsylvania, I moved back to North Idaho to work for a land development company. I have learned the ins and outs of our region from 10 years of developing land into rural land tracts totaling over 10,000 acres and 40 projects in Idaho, Washington and Montana, and then spent 12 years working in commercial private lending specializing in loans on timber, commercial real estate and land development tracts. I also understand construction, having designed and built my last three homes. For this reason, I work extensively throughout the five Northern counties of North Idaho and throughout Western Montana. This background has given me an extensive knowledge in construction, land surveying, road development, septic testing, well installation, local planning and zoning issues (I was a Kootenai County Planning Commissioner for 3 years), 1031 exchanges and utilizing Self-directed IRA’s for real estate. Personally, I love all that North Idaho has to offer - from the four seasons, the great outdoors, to skiing and boating in our wonderful summer months. It is extremely rewarding working with buyers and sellers and finding a fit between the two. There is nothing I enjoy more than deciphering the ins and outs of a particular piece of property.
