Duane was born in Richmond, VA and spent his high school and college days in Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance (BSBA-FIN) degree from the University of Florida. Go Gators! He always wanted to get back to the MidAtlantic states so when he was recruited by one of the nation's top five printing paper sales companies, he jumped at it and so launched his career in sales and client service. He was transferred to Wilmington, NC in the late 90's and that is where he has lived, happily, for the past twenty years. His interest in real estate developed with the buying and selling of properties for family and he quickly found that both his location and interest in the industry were a match made in heaven. Duane's personal interests include golf, fitness, surfing and...did we mention golf? Duane and his wife, Kelly, have two wonderful children and the coastal lifestyle of North Carolina is his perfect place. Sales has taught him many things, including negotiation skills and loyalty and that is where he feels his strong suits lie. He loves being a REALTOR® and is dedicated to being the best agent he can be while representing his clients' interests to the fullest extent.
