In her previous career, Josephine worked with Cabinet Ministers and politicians in the Ontario Legislature. Her responsibilities varied over the years and included working with legislative policy and constituency matters. She worked with other Members of Provincial Parliament, their staff and senior members of government at all levels. She worked closely with the Members constituents assisting them in resolving problems. For several years her job included working with Indigenous Peoples in remote northern Ontario communities.

Josephine is a Lifetime Member of the Tiffany Circle, a women’s philanthropic group that raises money for the Red Cross. Since her involvement she has had the opportunity to attend many events and activities in different countries and meet fellow Tiffany Circle members from around the world who, together, contribute their unique skills, expertise and experience to the work of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies globally.

Always on a quest to learn and grow, in her spare time, she attends conferences, courses and seminars. She also enjoys travelling and cooking.
