Over the years, Karen has been involved in both new development and residential resale of resort homes, condos, and homesites, becoming an expert in assisting both buyers and sellers.
Beginning her career at Sandestin in 1985 after graduating with a degree in finance from Auburn University, Karen recalls when Highway 98 was a two-lane winding road, and resort employees ate at the company cafeteria because there weren’t restaurants close enough to reach on lunch break. Growing up in the area with its beautiful white beaches as her back yard, she still enjoys the beaches, bike and walking trails – but now also the great food and shopping that has sprung up since those earlier days of the Emerald Coast.
Karen’s husband Dave is a passionate golfer and enjoys the game – when he is playing well. Their son, Trey, recently graduated from the University of Alabama, which makes for an interesting dynamic when it comes to football season. Karen looks forward to helping her customers find their piece of paradise.
