Description
Peter Techmanski was born and raised in New York State. He had a traditional upbringing in a picturesque college town founded in 1787. He first moved to Houston over 30 years ago. Peter has lived a life of variety, finding “home” wherever he is—from an Adirondack mountain village, to a pre-war midtown Manhattan townhome adjacent to the Plaza Hotel, to a Museum Area apartment in Houston. For the “Olympic Years” of the 1990’s, Peter relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to pursue a dream of supporting an Olympic host city. He is comfortable wherever he is and with whomever he shares company.
His undergraduate and graduate studies covered architecture, art history, anthropology and archaeology. He studied with colleges and universities in New York, Texas and Europe.
With Peter’s background, it is safe to say that his clients feel at ease and welcome his personable guidance and commitment to being of service. For the past 20 years, Peter bought and sold homes in Austin; he managed whole-house re-designs, remodels and supervised new constructions for his clients. Peter’s ability to balance aesthetic considerations with a “get it done” professionalism and stamina served him well.
Communication is one of Peter’s strong points. He listens for what is important to his clients and places high value on their input. He honed his communication skills through many years of training and development in communications at Landmark Worldwide where he expanded his appreciation and workability with all people. Peter has had a life-long involvement with the Episcopal Church where he continuously led youth and teen classes as well as created more in-depth, adult spiritual formation conversations.
He is resourceful beyond measure and a master of logistics. There is not a request or solution that will stump him—all the while keeping integrity and a sense of humor in balance. Peter states “impeccability and reliability in communications and presentation is what makes a difference to people.”
When time allows, Peter enjoys traveling throughout the Gulf Coast states. He loves the nuances of coastal beach communities, the high plains regions’ barrenness, the quiet of west Texas mountains—as well as celebrating big-city lifestyles.
Detail oriented, Peter is ready to navigate buyers and sellers through their transactions to any of Houston’s outstanding neighborhoods. He’s just great with people and works for mutual satisfaction in everything.
