Description
Carey moved to Larchmont in 1999 with her husband Fred and their two young children. Two more kids later, she and Fred enjoy the village vibe of Larchmont, raising their children here and staying involved in the community. Carey chairs the Larchmont Arts Festival, and is an active member of the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce, Larchmont/Mamaroneck Lions, and The Woman's Club of Larchmont. Her interest in selling real estate started early, visiting her successful broker aunt in Texas every summer. When the time was right to start her own career in real estate, Sotheby’s, with the brand reputation of excellence and integrity, was a natural choice. Carey partners with her mentor, Cary Sleeper, a 3rd generation broker. Husband Fred is also a licensed real estate agent on the Carey & Carey Team, making communication easy. A degree in Art Education from The University of Kansas, growing up in the Midwest, and living in Santa Fe, NM before moving to New York, Carey’s background contributes to her calm and reassuring demeanor which clients welcome. Trusting Carey to help them with the important decisions of buying and selling real estate, her clients continually note her market knowledge, speed of communication, community network, and patience. She and Fred have four children, from high school age to out-of-college. Carey enjoys entertaining, walking to Manor Park, and playing music with family and friends.
