A Litchfield County native with over 40 years of experience in the county's second home market, including formally owning and operating her own firm Casey Real Estate, Broker Karen Casey has pursued real estate as a total passion. Well respected by both her buyers and sellers, as well as her colleagues in the business, she has balanced professionalism with client sensitivity and cements it all together with her down-to-earth style.Her love for the area's natural beauty and concern for its future has prompted her to be very involved in her community. A former Kent Chamber of Commerce President and Kent's Assessment Appeals Chairman, an elected position she held for 15 years, currently Karen is Chairman of Kent's Planning and Zoning Commission. In January 2024 Karen was appointed as a Town of Kent Deputy Registrar. Karen served as Chairman of The Republican Town Commitee Chairman for 3 years in the recent past.
Karen supports area Land Trusts and Libraries and is Mom to a rescue dog named "Honey".A mother of three grown children and grandmother to eight young children, she understands the joy of quality family time and the importance of a home.
