Description

With over 38 years in real estate, Diana brings a depth of experience and reputation for thoughtful problem solving. A graduate of Emma Willard School and Mount Holyoke College, Diana and her husband, Walter, were owners/operators of Carinthia Ski Area, now a part of Mount Snow. In 1987, they moved to Stratton Mountain. Her commitment to small town communities has led her to serve on Dover and Stratton Boards of Selectmen, Planning Commissions, Zoning Boards, Design Review Boards, Fire Districts, and Town Moderator. She is a past President of the Stratton Foundation and recipient of its Emo Henrich Award for community service. As a Realtor she is Past President of South Central Board of Realtors, Vermont Realtors State Director, 2006 Realtor of the Year, member of the VAR Forms Committee.
In a State with a rich cultural heritage, Diana has been able to pursue her love for the performing arts as an actor and stage director with several area theatre companies. She currently serves on the Dorset Theatre Festival Board of Trustees. Her dedication to helping customers and clients make the right choices in Vermont real estate, her commitment to serving where needed, and her support of the arts enhances the lives of those who live, work and vacation in Vermont.

In 2021 she took the advice that she had given her longtime clients who, as a response to the impact of Covid, were considering selling their homes and downsizing. With the passing of her husband, she sold their Stratton Mountain house in a splendid location at the top of North Brookwood and along the Wanderer ski trail to a remarkable family. Because of limited housing inventory she gave up finding a single-family home for herself and her Irish Terrier, Maggie, and settled for - or so she thought - a patio apartment in Manchester with an expanse of lawn for her dog and mountain views. Much to her surprise, what she thought she had given up she discovered she also had in Manchester: scenic areas with mountain views, trails past cascading waterfalls and the Battenkill River from her doorstep, mountain hiking trails, an expanse of starlit night sky, The life you seek in Vermont awaits wherever you find yourself. A beloved pet passes away and a beautiful Irish Terrier puppy, Peggy, is embraced to share the joy.
Her base and part of her heart is still Stratton while Manchester has opened up more lifestyle and real estate opportunities and conveniences. Her client-self is grateful to her Broker-self for assisting her through this transition.
