Mr. Martin has been involved in sales throughout his career after being Honorably Discharged from the US Navy. He started as a Financial Consultant for Merrill Lynch in Albany NY shortly after college. Later he went on to earn various licenses to sell insurance products and other intangibles throughout the Capital District area of New York. In the early 1990s Mr. Martin moved to Saranac Lake NY to be closer to the outdoor activities he and his wife enjoyed so much. Since then he has been a member of several boards and community organizations including The North Country Association for the Visually Impaired (NCAVI) the Adirondack Ski Touring Council (ASTC) and the Northern Adirondack Board of Realtors (NABOR), for whom he is a past President of the Board. He has been in Real Estate sales since 2004 and earned his Brokers License in 2007. In 2015 he was honored as NABOR Realtor of the Year. Mr. Martin holds a Bachelors of Arts (BA) with Concentrations in Finance and Economics from the College of St. Rose in Albany NY. He lives in Saranac Lake with his wife of 28 years though his two children have moved away. He still enjoys those activities he moved here for - hiking, skiing, hunting, fly fishing, paddling and hanging out with friends.
