Jacob L. Smith, a long-time Monmouth County resident, is a full-time real estate salesperson who works at the Ward Wight Sotheby’s International Realty office at 1117 Third Avenue in Spring Lake. Jacob actively lists & sells homes in Monmouth and Ocean counties and specializes in assisting first time home buyers, vacation home buyers and real estate investors with property acquisition and resale. Jacob has extensive knowledge of the various communities within Monmouth and Ocean counties and works diligently to find his clients the area and home that best suits their needs. He takes pride in building relationships, maintains a large clientele of repeat home buyers and has a far-reaching referral network. Complementing his established real estate sales business, Jacob also manages a large portfolio of seasonal and annual rental listings. He is a top producing agent in New Jersey and at the Jersey Shore.


Jacob is an esteemed member of the NJ Realtors® Distinguished Sales Club Award, which is presented to NJ Realtors® members who have been recipients of the Circle of Excellence® Sales Award® for 10 years. Jacob is a member of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore (FSOS) and founding member/managing partner of The Ole Social Club, a Jersey Shore Professional Networking Organization. Jacob graduated from Wall High School in 2000 and subsequently completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a second concentration in English Language at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia (May 2004). Soon after returning home from college, Jacob’s real estate career commenced as he was recruited and accepted a position with Foxtons, Inc. of West Long Branch, NJ (January 2005), where he first hung his NJ Real Estate Salesperson License and was trained as an inside salesperson. In December 2006 he joined Ward Wight Sotheby’s International Realty where, since then, he has enjoyed a successful tenure.


Jacob is committed to the Jersey Shore community where he grew up. He is an avid slow pitch softball player, a budding car collector, devoted partner to Danielle Sophia and proud father to Charles Judson Smith and Lily-Grace Sophia Smith. Jacob and his family currently reside in Asbury Park, but plan to settle permanently in Spring Lake once their home is completed in 2025.
