Barkley is a professional, highly accomplished real estate broker with Steamboat’s leading brokerage and has been a consistent award winner for high sales volume. He is driven and provides his clients with exceptional customer service, communication, and availability. He is a problem solver and utilizes his strategic engineering and detail-oriented background to achieve superior results for his clients.
Prior to joining Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty in 2007, Barkley had nine years of technical experience as a structural engineer, working on high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the Yampa Valley. He has an in-depth understanding of building design and development.
A dedicated athlete, Barkley was a member of the U.S. Ski Team for moguls and then became an accomplished pro-level cyclist. This drive and dedication carries over into his real estate business.
Barkley is a fifth generation Colorado native, engineering graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Steamboat Springs resident since 1998. The family-oriented nature of Steamboat is unique and special, and Barkley and his wife, Megan, are grateful for the opportunity to raise their three children here.
His problem-solving nature and appreciation of the Steamboat community and lifestyle led him into the real estate business, where he commits all of his talents to ensuring his clients successfully meet their real estate objectives.
