Locally grown since age 2, Heather loves and knows Denver, Boulder, the surrounding areas and the mountains, urban to suburban. Having also raised her now three young adult children (all CU Buffs), she has a unique insight into schools, sport options, cultural experiences and proximity to local activities in the Denver Metro area.
A Duke University graduate and former Varsity fencing captain who is fluent in Slovenian and German, Heather uses her experience living abroad to help those new to the area and United States understand community options in order to make the best housing choices. Through her excellent listening skills, respect for the human story and passion for the area, Heather applies client "must-haves" to find options that fit within budget and timing requirements. Heather chairs the Engagement Committee for Duke Alumni new to Colorado, providing valuable insights and resources for those who recently relocated.
As an experienced marketing professional, Heather understands the importance of differentiation for presenting properties to appeal to the broadest audience. She knows how to connect with buyers on an emotional level to tell the story of each property and reach consumers at all ends of the spectrum.
A devoted supporter of the arts, Heather continues to be involved in philanthropy and her community. Her involvement with Central City Opera and other non-profits has been an important and rewarding part of her life, and she continues these efforts through LIV Sotheby's.
