After early careers in marketing and education, Lara came to real estate in 2009 and has risen to become a leading agent in the Cambridge and Somerville markets. She works with both buyers and sellers, and also writes a popular local real estate blog offering analysis, insight and advice on our unique and ever-changing market.

An explorer at heart, Lara has traveled extensively and lived in a variety of places in the US and abroad. She champions urban living, loves all things art and design, and has never met a dog she didn’t want to take home with her. After being lured across the river by a historic East Boston brownstone, Lara and her husband have recently returned to Cambridge, where they are renovating their new Inman Square home.
Lara’s business is concentrated in Cambridge, Somerville, and the adjacent communities. This focus enables her to provide clients with in-depth knowledge of the local housing inventory, property values and market trends. It has also allowed her to build strong relationships with the local agent community, which she leverages to market her listings, strategically position her buyer clients in competitive offer situations, and shepherd her transactions through to a successful closing.
