Chris' passion for the Vail Valley began when spending winter vacations skiing with his family down the slopes of Vail Resort. After graduating in 1995 from the University of Missouri, he pursued his dream of living in Colorado. His enthusiasm for skiing and the outdoors led him to completing his full certification as a level III ski instructor. Chris has enjoyed working with both teens and adults at Beaver Creek Resort for the last 19 years sharing his passion for alpine skiing.
In his free time, he is a current member of the Beaver Creek men's demonstration ski team, which competes in Switzerland every April. His dedication to mastering his skills helped the team as a 6th time winner of the North American World Synchronized Ski Championship in Aspen, Colorado. During the warmer months, you can find Chris mountain biking, hiking, and fly-fishing in the Colorado rivers.
