A native of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and a proud UCLA graduate, Darin has called Hermosa Beach home since 1996. He is deeply invested in his community, where he lives with his wife and business partner Meredith Johnson DeRenzis and his two children who attend Mira Costa High School. An active community member, Darin served in the past as Executive Board member and President of Hermosa Beach Little League and also served on the Board of Walk With Sally, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children affected by the emotional challenges of living with or losing a loved one to cancer. His commitment to both his clients and community reflects his genuine passion for helping others thrive.
Before diving into real estate, Darin was Vice President at National Mobile Television, where he led a sales team and managed logistics for over 2,500 sports broadcasts annually. At the time, the company was the largest mobile television provider in the U.S., giving Darin a wealth of experience in leadership, customer service, and operations management.
Darin sits on the Board of RLTY, Inc a holding company that owns in Real Estate Brokerages, Escrow, Title and NHD companies. He also sits on the Community Advisory Board for CalPrivate Bank.
