Thomas Matthews is a well-respected real estate agent in the western suburbs of Boston. He has sold hundreds of homes and offers expertise in marketing luxury properties. Regarded as a talented market analyst and a strong negotiator, Mr. Matthews is often consulted by organizations to conduct seminars and workshops for other real estate professionals. Born in Newton and raised in Acton, Mr. Matthews is a life-long Massachusetts resident. He graduated with honors from UMass-Amherst Commonwealth School, went to Worcester Academy and played football for Post Grad year after high school. He believes in the power of continued education to hone his skills and increase his knowledge. His completed programs include At Home with Diversity, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Graduate in Real Estate (GRI), Loss Mitigation Specialist (LMC), Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist (SFS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Instruct the Trainer Institute (ITI). He is also a Graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy, Dean the GRI for MAR, and recently taught seminars at MAR state conferences in 2011 and 2012, as well as conducted MAR webinars in 2012 and 2013. After a full decade in the industry, Mr. Matthews has developed remarkable real estate experience. He is an active member of Business Networking International and has served as Vice President, President, Director and Lead Trainer for their member success program. His clients appreciate his straightforward manner, negotiation skills, transaction coordination, and strategic approach to accomplishing their goals. Mr. Matthews enjoys running 5k's, fit camp and the great outdoors. He often reads self-improvement books and shares that knowledge by teaching and mentoring young business people. He is a ten-year member of the Musketaquid Club in Concord. As a former Pan Mass Challenge rider, he raised over $25,000.
