Heidi was born and educated in Germany. Her job in the travel and airline industry, Hapag-Lloyd in Duesseldorf and Berlin, took her to Honolulu in 1969. This is where she met her husband Steve, who was attending the University of Hawaii. Her real estate career started in 1980 on Maui and, after moving to Kauai in 1982, she joined Sleeping Giant Realty and has continued to work with the company as it evolved over the years to Oceanfront Sotheby's International Realty, the company it is today. Heidi has an exceptional level of market knowledge, accumulated over her 36 years in real estate, while selling residential and commercial properties. Heidi sees herself more as a real estate matchmaker than a salesperson, matching her clients with the right property. She is proud that the majority of her clientele is made up of referrals and repeat clients. In addition to spending her free time with her husband Steve, daughter Britta when she visits from San Diego, great dane Nui, black lab Buddie and the Nawiliwili cats, she enjoys playing tennis as often as possible.
