Bob Wilkinson has called the North Carolina mountains home for more than 30 years. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in sales management and marketing. Bob began his career in a family-owned furniture business in Cleveland. After several years, he relocated to Seattle, Washington to become the northwest district sales manager for Ethan Allen Furniture, responsible for their stores in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska and Calgary, Alberta.
He spent 13 years in Seattle and then relocated to the town of Blowing Rock in the mountains of North Carolina with his wife Claudia and their three children, Brittney, Kelsey and Tyler, to accept the position of vice president of sales for a major furniture manufacturing company located in Lenoir, North Carolina. Bob was a member of the company sales and marketing team and also managed the national field sales force.
After many years in the furniture industry, Bob took on a new challenge and began his real estate career in 2006. For over 14 years, he has focused on the needs of his clients whether they are purchasing or selling a home. Experience does matter. Bob's patience and high level of professionalism allow him to provide his clients with a seamless and stress-free experience through any challenge that may arise. He is a strong communicator and negotiator and an active member of the High Country Association of REALTORS®. He and his wife are members of the Boone Golf Club and enjoy hikes in the beautiful surrounding mountain communities with their Goldendoodle, Miss Bella. Claudia is retired from Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church after 18 years as secretary and financial administrator. Their three children attended Blowing Rock Elementary School and Watauga High School. Bob will work hard to make sure your real estate transaction is a complete success.
