Mark entered the real estate business shortly after graduating from the University of California Santa Barbara, where he played varsity baseball. He has been a specialist in South County coastal real estate market for nearly 30 years. Mark was formally a partner in representing the developer, Stein-Brief, in marketing and selling Ritz Cove custom lots. He is widely respected for his negotiating proficiency, attention to detail and commitment to ethical business practices. Additionally, he has a great knack for understanding and finding unique properties often before they become available to the open market. Drawing from his extensive knowledge of Dana Point, Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel, he matches his buyers with the ideal property and neighborhood to fit their specific set of needs. A California native, Sweeney enjoys surfing, running on the beach and spending time with his wife and two grown children.
