Agency Sotheby's International Realty - Greenwich Brokerage

Description

Susan Holey is a top producing agent in Greenwich, CT. After leaving the world of television news more than 25 years ago, she took time off to raise a family and again found work she loves with Sotheby’s International Realty.

Susan’s educational background is largely quantitative with a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA. Her professional background as a news producer lends itself to the visual aspects and deadline-oriented business of real estate. Today’s technology-driven real estate industry requires strong quantitative skills but also an understanding that the real estate business is very personal. Susan’s business is about her clients and a major investment they call home.

Real Estate in Greenwich, CT

For Susan, pricing is paramount. “It’s true, location matters, it’s important. But, at any price point, few homes are perfect, but every home is right for someone if priced right,” she says. Her approach is data driven. “Whether buying or selling, it’s the most important part of the process because, in Greenwich, homes that are priced right sell three times faster than homes that require price reductions.”

Susan has significant experience with waterfront properties and has created WaterfrontConcierge.net, a network of extraordinary agents from all over the northeast that represents buyers in search of their dream waterfront home.

Beyond Real Estate

Susan graduated from Tufts University then studied for her MBA at Columbia Business School. In an unlikely next move, Susan found work she loved at NBC news, working as a producer for TODAY and Nightly News. She moved to Greenwich more than 24 years ago to raise her family and has been involved with local charities, her church, and supports The Sandy Hook Promise, a non-profit dedicated to protecting children from gun violence. Her free time is devoted to time with family, running, reading, and playing squash.
