Elizabeth “Betsy” Sorrel joins Sotheby’s International Realty with a wealth of experience in building, interior design, sales and marketing. With a 25-year career of success in Florida, Connecticut and New York, investing in real estate, purchasing and renovating and selling properties, Betsy brings superb insights to buyers and sellers alike.
Betsy keeps her finger on the pulse of the market. "I have lived and worked in Palm Beach for 20 years and know the Island well," she says. "As a builder, I keep an eye on what the buyer and/or seller is looking for in a home, while as a designer, I have a keen eye for what works in one."
Betsy was educated at Northwestern University and raised a family in Westchester County, NY and Greenwich, CT, but she is most at home in Palm Beach where she has resided for the last 20 years.
She enjoys traveling, the outdoors and all water sports, plays tennis, cooks and gardens. Betsy likes to give back to the community and she feels it is important to volunteer. To that end, she served as a board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation as well as a member of the board of a New York-based adoption agency.
