After growing up in eastern Pennsylvania, Lana traded snow boots for flip-flops and headed to sunny Arizona to study business management at Arizona State University. With over 20 years of hospitality management experience in resorts, casinos and restaurants; she found her love of island living after a job transfer brought her to Honolulu. A subsequent job offer in Southern California made her realize how much she missed the islands and with a weekend trip to St. Croix, her decision was made. Several months later she packed up and moved with dogs in tow and never looked back.
The only thing Lana loves more than spending time exploring her beloved island home is her love for animals large and small. With her family having recently expanded to twenty fur-kids, her free time is spent helping raise money, foster and volunteer her time helping the local animal rescue organizations.
Lana began her real-estate career as an agent shortly after arriving on island in 2013 and received her broker's license in 2017. She is now Co-Owner and Principal Broker of USVI Sotheby's International Realty and served as 2022 President-elect for the Virgin Islands Territorial Association of Realtors after serving as 2020/2021 President of the St. Croix Board of Realtors. Prior to that, she served as 2017 Secretary, 2018 Director and 2019 President-Elect. Lana is C2Ex certified and has her ABR, AHWD, e-PRO, RENE, RSPS and SRS professional real estate designations.
Her personal relocation experiences coupled with her extensive hospitality background allow her a unique insight into the joys and challenges associated with making an island move.
