Kim Bayless has been a licensed realtor since 2013. She specializes in the Austin Texas hill country and has helped buyers and sellers with a wide range of properties from lock-and-leave townhomes to luxury listings in gated communities. Her greatest joy is helping people find happiness in their move, including meeting their timelines and finding a home that meets their selection criteria within budget.
Kim has always been an overachiever; she is a member of American Mensa, the high IQ society, and attended Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame, IN, on an academic scholarship, majoring in Fine Arts with a minor in Mathematics. She has a rare ability to leverage both the left and right sides of the brain to be creative and artistic, while still highly analytical and logical. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a commendation from the Art Department in 1998, and then served the AmeriCorps Housing Team to give back and provide assistance to needy families in New Orleans. From roofing to foundations, she got her hands dirty in the steamy New Orleans climate for two years. After that work adventure, Kim worked for an art gallery and then moved to Austin in 2001 for a job in the corporate world as a technology salesperson. She took her multi-state region from the lowest sales volume in the company to the highest performing territory in a few short years. At the same time, Kim owned and managed rental properties in Dallas and Austin, and is familiar with the challenges of investment property. She attributes her work successes to forming strong relationships with her clients, putting their interests first, and always acting with integrity. Kim is a strong believer in karma and the Golden Rule.
After having identical twin boys, Kim realized she needed to stop traveling and focus on a career in the local Austin area. The skills she developed in technology sales provided a strong foundation and translated well to real estate. She feels at home at Kuper Sotheby’s because of the company’s legacy in the world of fine arts, and their high-quality marketing pieces that expertly portray the beauty of each property.
