Jim’s passion for real estate and home design started at an early age, assisting his father with real estate development projects in Florida (from land purchase to design build) and ultimately led him to entertain architectural design and engineering in college. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida with an emphasis in design. Since college, Jim has held several corporate sales positions as VP of Global Sales and Business Development for multiple large international companies. His extensive background instilled and fostered a skill set in communication and understanding his client’s needs first along with strong negotiating techniques and financial and technical competence - all skills paramount in both simple and complex sales transactions. Having international sales experience is well-suited for being an agent with the leading global luxury firm, Sotheby’s International Realty. Whether working for CEOs on second homes/corporate retreats, young families with their first house or sellers, Jim’s focus is meeting and exceeding client’s expectations in this important economic, personal and emotional decision. Before Jim made his buying decision to invest in Park City property (he has owned several lots and built three homes over the past few decades here) he traveled to and investigated the value compared to other resort ski communities in CO, MT, CA and WY. Jim came here to ski and stayed due to the quality of life and, as many locals will tell you, the community summer activities like mountain biking and hiking. Jim and his wife raised their two children in Park City, who come home regularly to enjoy skiing and the holidays.
