A seasoned real estate professional who entered Northern Utah’s dynamic and fast-paced residential market in 2008, Andrew ‘Andy’ Cordray offers his clients a winning combination—cultivated local connections paired with the proven resources, global network, and unmatched reach of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. Although Andy has called Utah home since 2004, he was born and raised in the Pennsylvania farmlands outside Philadelphia, where he grew up with a strong love for spending time outdoors. A gregarious and outgoing individual by nature, Andy graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Theater.
An urge to travel and see the world led Andy to a variety of destinations in the years immediately after college; he spent time sailing through the Caribbean followed by several months surfing in Costa Rica. Eventually he traded his surfboard for a snowboard and headed to the mountains of Park City, Utah to experience the ‘ski bum’ lifestyle for a season. Andy’s infectious smile and welcoming demeanor quickly made him a well-known friend to many; he excelled as a bar manager on Park City’s historic Main Street while putting his degree in communications to good use, discovering an exceptional talent for voiceover work.
It didn’t take long for Andy’s time in Utah to turn into a permanent stay after he was approached by a local REALTOR® who admired his outgoing personality and driven work ethic. Ready for a new challenge, Andy obtained his real estate license and joined their already-established group. Jumping headfirst into Utah’s dynamic world of real estate and learning from a successful team allowed Andy to make great strides in his career. He joined luxury brokerage Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in 2014, after seeking a full-service firm with the resources and reach to support his quickly advancing career.
During his time at Summit SIR, Andy has been delighted to partner closely with Brigid Flint and Michelle Eastman at High Star Ranch, a luxury mountain community based just outside Kamas, Utah. Today he is one of the primary listing agents there, as well as a High Star Ranch resident himself. With his degree in communications and 15 years (and counting) of direct experience navigating Utah’s competitive real estate market, Andy understands how to manage complicated transactions. In an always shifting market, it pays to have the support and guidance of a real estate professional. Now a dedicated dad living in Utah’s pristine Kamas Valley with his family, when he’s not working in real estate Andy is enjoying all that Utah has to offer alongside his wife Kara and their two children—Johnny and Lucille (who both share the middle name ‘Rad’). He still loves to ski and snowboard (flipping a coin in the mornings to decide) and enjoys downhill mountain biking and Enduro dirtbike racing in Utah’s iconic mountains.
