Sarah Timmons grew up in Fort Payne, Alabama, and earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Alabama. In 2010, as her professional career was taking off in Atlanta, she found herself drawn to real estate through a positive connection with a local agent helping her find a place to call home.
Her grandparents moved to Destin when Sarah was just three years old, allowing her to grow up knowing the Emerald Coast as a second home. They sold the condo in 1998 to buyers who kept it until 2018, when it was once again offered for sale. Sarah was able to visit the condo, which had been kept much the same since her family owned it in the late 1990s, and secure a painting that belonged to her grandparents, which she now proudly displays in her home office.
Sarah enjoys the variety that a career in real estate brings and meeting new people from all over the world. Her lifetime of knowledge about the area, combined with her background in sales and marketing, helped her to earn 'Rookie of the Year' and 'Top Individual Agent' honors with $14.8 million in sales at her previous brokerage. From 2020 to 2023, she earned the "Extraordinary Award," an honor given to agents with the highest sales volume in the company. Since 2021, she has earned the distinction of America's Best Real Estate Professionals by REAL Trends each year. She was nominated by her peers to serve on the 2023 and 2024 Scenic Sotheby's International Realty Leadership Council. To date, her career sales exceed $134 million, with 2023 her best year to date. Her productivity landed her among ECAR's Top 100. Sarah specializes in guiding investors and helping buyers find the best return on investment for their purchase, in communities from Destin and Sandestin to 30A, including Seagrove and Dunes of Seagrove, as well as Panama City Beach.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys boating, traveling and spending time with her family and two yorkies. She is an avid Alabama football fan, traveling to nearly every national championship game during Nick Saban's tenure. Sarah is also a member of Women's Council of Realtors and Impact 100 of Northwest Florida, a women's non-profit organization focused on giving back to the community.
