A lifetime in the Finger Lakes region along with Tim’s background and experiences make him a valuable resource when selling and finding that special property around the Lakes and surrounding areas. After graduating from SUNY Morrisville with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design, Tim contracted for various utilities throughout New York and New England to meet with customers and evaluate their properties for potential energy savings, including HVAC testing and analysis. This opportunity placed Tim into many different properties each day to provide him with an extensive knowledge of evaluating a property. Tim left the area to live in Atlanta, and then Los Angeles for years, again contracting for the utilities and placing him in various style homes and working with a range of customers. Tim eventually left the utility field to join a Los Angeles based commercial boat company to assist in Sales and Distribution for domestic and International clients. This required extensive travel to municipal and military locations on waterways in North America, and four other Continents to meet, demonstrate and train clients on these vessels, of course this included the Finger Lakes. Returning to the Finger Lakes to settle down and raise his family Tim became very interested in restoring old homes and after success with these real estate transactions decided to use his past experience to sell real estate as well. Being a top producer at a few brokerages over the years, Tim has found Sotheby’s International to be the brand that best utilizes his experiences in various construction and home styles including a focus on Lake front properties and national and international clientele. Residing outside Canandaigua, Tim covers all of the Finger Lakes and Rochester region including but not limited to: Canandaigua, Keuka, Seneca, Cayuga Lake and Lake Ontario.
