Glo has additionally written grants for a local Humane Society, plus led the efforts to have a commercial district listed on the National Register of Historic Properties. Locally, she serves on the Asolo Guild board, is involved with the SPARCC Auxiliary, the Sarasota Historical Society and is a Rotarian.
