Global Real Estate Advisor | Premier Sotheby's International Realty
Laura Pearson brings a global perspective, creative edge and deep local knowledge to every real estate opportunity. As a global real estate advisor with Premier Sotheby's International Realty, she serves buyers and sellers throughout the greater Sarasota area - including Longboat Key, Casey Key, Siesta Key and Lakewood Ranch. Known for her intuitive understanding of both real estate and people, Laura listens closely and works with empathy and precision to guide customers toward the right decisions.
She is highly focused, efficient, reliable and always well-prepared. A strategic thinker with a strong creative instinct, Laura draws on her background in art direction and design to craft innovative, visually driven marketing campaigns that stand out in a competitive market. She continually invests in professional development, dedicating four hours weekly to advanced training in market intelligence, negotiation and contracts - ensuring her customers benefit from the most current business practices.
Laura also maintains an active presence within the global Sotheby's International Realty® network, traveling twice a year to affiliate offices across the United States and Italy to promote Florida's Gulf Coast lifestyle and forge connections for international exposure. In 2024, she was recognized as a top producer and inducted into Club 1744, an honor reserved for Premier Sotheby's highest-achieving advisors. She was also ranked by RealTrends Verified among the top 1.5% of individual agents nationwide by sales volume for 2025.
Before entering real estate, Laura enjoyed an award-winning career as an international fashion designer. She founded Tijuca Sweater by Laura Pearson, a handknit sweater company based in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. Her work spanned continents - she served as a licensed knitwear designer for Taka-Q in Japan and created textiles in Como, Italy. She received three prestigious fashion awards: the Coty Award, the Cutty Sark Award and the International Wool Bureau's award for the United States.
Originally from Glen Rock, New Jersey, Laura's home base for many years was New York City and Sag Harbor. She holds a degree from Wheaton College in Massachusetts and completed summer study at the University of Barcelona. She is fluent in Spanish, which enhances her international customer service.
Laura first fell in love with Sarasota when it was still a quiet coastal town with dreamy beaches. Since making it her full-time home in 2009, she has embraced the area's rich cultural scene and natural beauty. She is an active member of the Sarasota Yacht Club, supports the ballet and the Ringling College Lecture Series and volunteers with Children First. Sarasota's unique blend of creative energy and coastal serenity continues to inspire her personally and professionally.
