A sales associate with Premier Sotheby's International Realty at its Lakewood Ranch office, Rebecca Zimmerman provides her customers authenticity, integrity, research and market knowledge to make their sale or purchase as seamless and stressless as possible.
Rebecca is a member of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee and started in real estate in 2010 during the market's downturn. That experience taught her not only contract negotiation strategies, marketing tools, the process and the technology but also the human side of the equation. She prides herself on treating others the way she wants to be treated.
Prior to her time in real estate, Rebecca spent 20 years in IT and acquired her MBA from Florida International University after graduating in the top five of her class. She then opened her own company and provided IT recruiting and placement services to Fannie Mae before moving on to IT consulting for business and strategic development.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, relocation has been a major theme of Rebecca's life. She has lived in major cities across the East Coast — including New York City, Miami and Washington, D.C., before settling in Lakewood Ranch, Florida — leading her to understand the stress and confusion of uprooting and looking for a new place to call home. It has inspired her to help others in the same process.
Outside of her work in real estate, Rebecca enjoys ballroom dancing, gardening and economics. She also speaks Spanish and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
