Maureen Morris, born in New York, has been a resident of Sarasota since 1971 and loves the lifestyle that makes this beautiful location so special. She enjoys helping people find their perfect home, specializing in waterfront, downtown and West-of-Trail neighborhoods, working to ensure that every customer enjoys a pleasant experience while buying or selling a home.
Licensed in 1981, Maureen began working with her husband, Matt, in the real estate industry. They launched their own company, Morris Group South, in 1984, shortly after Maureen earned her broker's license. The company focused on commercial real estate, specifically land development, hotels, and retail centers throughout Florida.
After raising their three children and working in new homes, she joined Matt at ERA Mount Vernon Realty in 2003 to sell both commercial and residential real estate as a team. By 2006 they joined Sotheby's International Realty when they recognized that this quality brand and level of professionalism would allow them to provide a higher level of service for their current and future customers.
