Lora Davis began her real estate career in early 2005. The market was just picking up in the greater Teton area and the real estate frenzy beginning. The very fast paced market proved to be a very good training ground, and she quickly became a top producing agent. In late 2007, she started her own brokerage, Silver Peaks Realty, which became the top transaction producing brokerage in Teton Valley by 2010. In 2020, Lora sold her brokerage to Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty where she now enjoys assisting buyers and sellers without the added workload of brokering. She and her team work with buyers and sellers in residential, land, farm and ranch and commercial real estate. Lora has found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting her clients first. This means keeping herself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to their needs. Lora moved to Teton Valley, Idaho in 2001, from Queensland, Australia, where she and her family had spent four years. Her husband, Jim, was born and raised in Victor, in Teton Valley. It had been their dream for many years to move ‘back home’. They live on 20 acres at the headwaters of the Teton River surrounded by panoramic mountain views. Wildlife abounds with world class trout in the nearby river and ponds, geese, ducks, bald eagles, and the occasional moose to spook the horses. As a mother of five and grandmother of ‘many’, it is always great to have the family gather and enjoy this incredible place. While living in Australia and learning to pilot airplanes, Lora served on the board of directors for the Bundaberg Aero Club from 1997-1999 and as board president from 1999-2001. Locally, Lora served on the board of directors for Teton Board of Realtors from 2016-2018, and the Downtown Driggs Association from 2018-2020.
