Born and raised in Surrey county just outside London, Thomas boasts a wealth of luxury real estate experience guiding clients, whether buying or selling, on their journey for their next property across Europe, the Middle East, and the US.
After graduating from university, Thomas began a career in marketing consulting with Wasserman in central London. Always hungry for new challenges, Thomas leapt at the opportunity to open Wasserman’s first Middle Eastern office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is there that Thomas honed his client services, sales, contract and negotiation skills, unearthing a new passion that ultimately pivoted his career into real estate. Thomas joined the international firm Engel & Völkers, successfully becoming the leading sales specialist selling luxury villas and penthouse properties in the iconic man-made island Palm Jumeirah neighborhood in Dubai.
While life may take you to unexpected places, Thomas fully believes that it is love that brings you home. During his time in the UAE, Thomas met longtime Raleigh native Kat Fogartie. The two married in Debordieu, SC, and chose to follow their hearts back to Raleigh, settling in North Hills, where they are blessed to be raising their three children - Ella Rhieu, Lottie and Maverick - and trying to keep up with their spunky labs Benji and Beau. Given his family’s roots, Thomas has developed a thorough knowledge and love of the RDU area – having the privilege of successfully advising, marketing, selling, and securing properties in highly desirable neighborhoods across the Triangle over the years. For each of his clients, Thomas delivers end-to-end project management, whether your home is a new build or an established gem, and is always ahead of the latest market trends to ensure you never overspend.
Thomas is a born-and-bred Chelsea FC supporter who loves exercising - DEKA races with his family are calendar staples - golf, grilling, spending time with friends and family, and is a Tar Heel-in-training, thanks to his wife and in-laws.
