Rosemarie Deane has always been passionate about real estate. She had a successful career in journalism, writing from London and New York, when she started in real estate brokerage over 20 years ago. It was a rewarding transition. A few months later she was named one of the top brokers in the company.

“Every buyer has a vision. When shown the right apartment or townhouse, something clicks, and they know this is the one.” When working with sellers, Rosemarie emphasizes pricing. “If an apartment is priced close to market, it will sell. Otherwise it will languish and grow stale.” Rosemarie gives all her sellers a weekly activity report, including updated comparables and feedback from brokers and buyers.
Often Rosemarie devotes time to helping families with estate sales. Her compassion and understanding are greatly appreciated by bereaved families, while she assists them in maximizing the value of their inheritance. Rosemarie has also been active in commercial sales, specializing in faith-based institutional properties.
Rosemarie and her family have lived on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for over 20 years. Both her children attended Manhattan private schools prior to attending college. A British citizen, originally from London, Rosemarie is familiar with property buying and selling in both UK and US markets. She has a degree from the London School of Economics and recently graduated from New York University with a master’s degree in real estate development and finance.
For fun, Rosemarie is an enthusiastic member of the Heavenly Rest Players, the Canterbury Choral Society and other performance groups. She is also an active member of her church and of Carnegie Hill Neighbors.
