A local Utahn born and raised, Kristel Gough has focused both her personal and professional life on an expectation of hard work and personal excellence. With over 25 years of experience in the Real Estate industry, her reputation continues to rise thanks to committed passion for the business.
Kristel’s devotion to excellence shows in her exceptional career history within the Real Estate industry—first, as a member of one of the top-producing mortgage lender teams in the state of Utah for over 22 years and since 2016, as a licensed REALTOR®. At the age of 17, Kristel joined Zions Mortgage as a Quality Control Auditor, working part-time after school and softball practices to pay for a much-loved first car. From there, she worked her way up to Loan Processor and then Loan Originator, and from there to Branch Manager and then Mortgage Lender/Owner. At this point, after 20+ years in the mortgage world, Kristel decided to take on a new challenge and she set out to acquire her Real Estate license in 2016.
Kristel found early success in the industry through her driven work ethic and consummate professionalism, and she affiliated with luxury brokerage, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, in September of 2020. A full-service brokerage with an award-winning advertising team, Summit SIR is known for offering ‘million-dollar marketing’ for every property—regardless of location or price point. Kristel’s passion drives her daily; she is committed to providing unparalleled service and expertise while collaborating with clients and colleagues alike. During her career, Kristel has received her RENE, ABR, PSA, CRS and E-Pro designations.
As a Real Estate Professional with a genuine dedication to her field, Kristel hopes to enrich the lives of her clients and the community where she works and lives. She is well-connected and actively involved in the industry, having served as the President of the Women’s Council of Realtors®, Salt Lake in 2018 and as the President of the Women’s Council of Realtors, Utah in 2021. Currently, Kristel serves on the Government Affairs Committee and the Grievance Committee within the Salt Lake Board of Realtors®. Kristel had the honor of receiving the Presidential Award in 2018 and the Pinnacle Award in 2019. She has also been recognized as a Sotheby’s International Realty ‘Top 500 Agent’ for the past five years running. Additionally, Kristel is a certified, professional Life and Business Coach.
Although Kristel enjoys all areas of Real Estate, today she specializes in luxury and new construction—working with her daughter selling, staging and designing homes for local Utah builders. The Beehive State is an exceptional place to live, and Kristel feels fortunate to help others search for and secure their ideal home in Utah and beyond. When she’s not helping clients or ruling the Real Estate world, Kristel loves traveling and spending time with her three children.
