Raised in Northern Michigan, Jaya graduated from Duke University with a double major in economics and public policy. After many years as a real estate investor - earning invaluable experience in everything from design, remodeling and staging to smart pricing strategy and marketing - she decided to put her wealth of knowledge to work for homebuyers and sellers throughout Sarasota and its barrier islands.
A dynamic, proactive professional, Jaya strives for the exceptional at every stage of the real estate experience. Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, she honed her excellent marketing, negotiation and communication skills working for Ford Motor Company and Lear Corporation in the Detroit area. These qualities, along with Jaya's personal passion for property investing, translated perfectly to the demands of real estate, whether working with a first-time buyer or seasoned seller.
She enjoyed Sarasota as a visitor for many years before making a permanent move to the area. Jaya is delighted to be raising her two sons in Sarasota. A member of the Duke Alumni Association, she enjoys running, biking, kayaking and volunteering at her children's schools.
