Zachary Zisook joined Jameson Sotheby’s in 2020. With a real estate career that spans 20 years, Zach’s knowledge of the industry and attention to detail transcend the typical brokerage experience for clients. The combination of his work experiences, knowledge of the marketplace, his passion for design along with his devotion to his clients makes Zach an outstanding broker.
It’s no question why Zach has found success in the real estate industry. As the 4th generation of his family to be working in real estate, Zach was destined to be in the business.
His career began right out of college, working with his family’s firm, RBI Sandz Development Co., a multi-family and mixed-use real estate development, construction management and property management company. They are responsible for the development of many high-profile properties throughout Chicago including 530 N. Lake Shore Drive, 600 N. Lake Shore Drive and Webster Square in Lincoln Park. During his tenure at RBI Sandz, Zach grew his experience to include all aspects of development – from land acquisition, to unit design and marketing/sales of the units.
Zach also has notable history working in the hospitality industry. In 2006, he was recruited by a major Las Vegas hotel/casino to manage all aspects of VIP operations and customer service. This included not only hotel guests, but all patrons visiting the properties resort, casino, restaurants and nightclubs. One of his major initiatives was to bring in, deal with and host high profile clientele and celebrity guests. Zach underwent intensive customer experience training and ongoing service education, to become an authority in the field of customer service and hospitality. While in Las Vegas, Zach completed further real estate studies at the College of Southern Nevada to build up his knowledge and education on other real estate markets as well as the hospitality/hotel/resort aspect of real estate.
When Zach returned to Chicago he didn’t waste any time getting back to his roots. In 2014, he joined @properties as a real estate broker. Over the years, Zach expanded his business to include interior design services. Zach has always had a passion for design, and first noticed his natural ability with design while supporting clients selecting finishes for their newly purchased units in new developments. He also became very involved in kitchen and bathroom design for many new developments. Following this passion for design, he was always taking classes to better educate himself and keep current on new trends, etc. From material selection to layouts he can provide a service superior to the common real estate agent.
His unique perspective of the full cycle of a real estate relationship is rare. With extraordinary attentiveness, he advises on: land purchase, purchase or sale of existing property, interior design, and highly effective sales strategies.
Whether a person is buying or selling, Zach’s outstanding communication, customer service and hospitality skills, ensure a concierge-level experience for each client – so that they can love and be happy where they live. Zach primarily serves clients in the Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, Bucktown, Streeterville, Lakeview, River North, West Loop, and other downtown neighborhoods of Chicago. He also represents both buyers and sellers in North Shore suburban markets.
Zach was raised in Winnetka, attended New Trier high school, and received his BA in Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds a certificate in Construction Management for Residential Real Estate and also Interior Design. Zach is an active board member of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.
