Growing up in a real estate family, Marilyn Blume has extensive knowledge of the many intricacies involved to cater to her clientele. Marilyn, a native New Yorker, is familiar with the city’s neighborhoods and what they have to offer. She is delighted to be a part of The Leslie S. Modell Team at Sotheby’s International Realty - East Side Manhattan Brokerage, one of the top five teams in the office for 2021 and among the top 1% in sales of Realogy Brokerage Group nationwide from 2015-2020.
Starting her career in institutional equity sales, Marilyn fine-tuned her analytical and negotiating skills to best help her clients navigate through the complex financial process of a real estate transaction. Whether she is representing a buyer or a seller, having a strong understanding of the market helps Marilyn work effectively and efficiently.
Giving back to the community is important to Marilyn. She is the co-chair of the membership committee for Savvy Ladies, a business consultant for The Acceleration Project which supports small businesses, and an active alumna of her college alma mater. She also enjoys her early morning runs, baking, and reading.
Marilyn graduated from Washington University, St. Louis, MO with a degree in economics, did a semester in Washington D.C while interning for a NY Senator, and spent a semester abroad at The London School of Economics.
