Raised in a real estate family, Marilyn Blume developed a deep understanding of the industry from an early age. A native New Yorker, Marilyn is deeply familiar with the city’s neighborhoods and what they each have to offer. Marilyn was formerly a member of a top-performing team at Sotheby’s International Realty and now continues her success as an independent real estate advisor. She began her career in institutional equity sales at AllianceBernstein in New York City, where she fine-tuned her analytical and negotiating skills. Whether representing a buyer or a seller, Marilyn’s strong understanding of the market allows her to work effectively and efficiently. Having started a family in New York City, Marilyn brings firsthand insight into the varied aspects of family life in the city. This perspective enhances her ability to guide clients through decisions that affect not just their investments, but their lifestyles. Giving back to the community is important to Marilyn. She is an Ambassador for the Circle of Generosity, an organization that supports families in need, a Student Mentor at the East Harlem Tutorial Program, and an active alumna of her college alma mater. Outside of work and volunteer efforts, she enjoys early morning runs, baking, and reading. Marilyn graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO with a degree in economics. She spent a semester in Washington D.C. interning for a New York Senator, and another semester abroad at The London School of Economics.
