He has the distinction of establishing international luxury brands in India from the inception stage and has successfully created a market for these brands by setting up exclusive boutiques in premium locations across metropolitans and also developed alternative channels of distribution through shop-in-shops with premium jewellers across the country.
The brands handled were Montblanc, Canali, Burberry, Baccarat, Acqua di Parma, Wedgwood, Harry Winston and Girard Perregaux. As a key luxury marketing professional, he was invited by the management at Parker to re-position the Parker Premium and Waterman in India as Head of Luxury Business. His stints with iconic luxury brands has given him a deep insight on luxury brand marketing and strategies
Vishal has nurtured long term relationships with the Crème de la crème and has been known as a purveyor of luxury products and services.
He is an avid music listener with interest in all genres of music, loves to travel and has been a natural sportsman. He has played cricket and Badminton at National level and has an excellent hand at Billiards. A commerce graduate and alumni of Indian Institute of Management (K) has participated and trained at world class academies like 'The Montblanc Academy’ Hamburg and Wedgwood, London.
