Claire Pope is no stranger to finding a new home. She hails from the UK where she had a successful career as an actress and presenter for film and television. Claire has appeared in BBC adaptations amongst other exciting projects and has worked alongside actors such as Stephen Graham and Mark Strong.
Claire and her family moved to Chapel Hill in 2015 after her husband’s job was relocated to the Triangle. She lives with her husband David who works in clinical research and they have three children. Callum their son moved from the UK a year ago, where he played rugby for the North of England, he has followed in his Father's footsteps and also works in clinical research. Their eldest daughter Kitty is a soccer goalie and plays at UNCW and their youngest daughter Betsy is at high school locally in Chapel Hill. Claire and her family live close to the Franklin Street office and are very involved in the community. Claire has always had a passion for real estate and she and her husband have enjoyed buying and selling houses in the UK and still own property there. Claire once presented a show called Property Search TV which helped out-of-town buyers view homes virtually throughout the UK.
After renting for a few years, Claire and her husband decided to make things more permanent and put roots down and make Chapel Hill their permanent home in November 2019. Claire found the process of trying to find a house challenging having moved from the UK and would love to help others relocating to the Triangle. Claire is very involved locally and knows the Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Chatham and Durham areas very well. She serves on the board of OCHAR and has just become the Managing broker at the Chapel Hill office.
Claire loves being involved in the community and helping others, she would love to help you find your new home.
