Her volunteerism over the years includes coaching Marin youth sports (baseball, softball, and soccer), volunteering for the Youth in Arts Council, and Hospice by the Bay. Laurie holds a GREEN designation from the National Association of Realtors as an extension of her concern for the environment and interest in holistic health. Professionally, she has been active in the Marin Realtor Association as a Board Member, Executive, and serving on a variety of committees. Laurie’s background includes an award-winning sales career in luxury consumer goods and holds a B.A. degree in Public Relations from Southern Illinois University where she wrote for the university newspaper, chaired committees for the Public Relations (Student) Society of America, and was an NCAA Division 1 athlete and Junior Olympian.
