Whitney Fautin’s roots in Salt Lake City go back almost a century. A native of the well-known Avenues area in Salt Lake City, Whitney has made Utah her lifelong residence and is passionate about the community in which she lives. Today she and her husband are raising their three children in an Avenues home that has been in her family since its construction in 1927. Whitney’s childhood upbringing fostered a strong appreciation and love for the old charm and historical architecture of Salt Lake City and her passion, curiosity and local lineage have made her a true expert on the city and the beauty and excitement it offers residents.
With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry specializing in residential and investment real estate, along with her local knowledge of the city and surrounding areas, Whitney brings a high level of experience, expertise, and confidence to every transaction. Throughout the process, she often forms close relationships with her clients that go far beyond the purchase or sale of a home. One of Whitney’s favorite aspects of being a real estate professional is touring with her clients around the Salt Lake Valley and showcasing all that Utah has to offer.
Whitney graduated from West High School and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. While attending school, she began working in real estate in 1998 and fell in love with every aspect of the industry. She recognized that her talents and abilities aligned perfectly with a career in real estate, so she took the plunge and became licensed Realtor® in 2002. Whitney joined Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in the summer of 2021 after being drawn to the company’s reputation for offering a luxury real estate experience for every client and every property, no matter the price point, size or location. Summit Sotheby’s International Realty serves clients throughout Utah and is the state’s only brokerage with full-time, in-house teams specializing in marketing and advertising, photography and video, and transaction management. Living in the same Salt Lake City home in the Avenues as her predecessors, Whitney enjoys creating memories to pass down to future generations with her husband Josh, their children and two goldendoodles. She and her family love to travel the world experiencing new cultures and broadening their children’s perspectives on the world. Along with her husband, Whitney has enjoyed renovating past homes and investing in real estate throughout the years, which has proven fruitful for her family. In her free time, Whitney loves to stay active by playing tennis, pickleball, and exercising. Active in her community, Whitney is a big fan of the University of Utah athletics, attending home football games and gymnastic meets, and she loves getting involved with volunteer opportunities in her local community whenever she finds time.
