Laura Cullen brings her clients a wealth of real estate knowledge and industry experience. After graduating from Hollins College, Laura worked on Wall Street in the insurance brokerage business for several years before deciding to become an attorney. Upon graduating from Emory Law School, she specialized in real estate, first as an associate in the commercial real estate group of Alston & Bird and then as Associate General Counsel of Fannie Mae for 25 years. Laura’s depth of expertise also includes her personal knowledge and experience of living and raising children in Atlanta. Having lived in the neighborhoods of Collier Hills, Garden Hills and Brookhaven, Laura and her husband, Joe, now reside in Ansley Park. Their children, Gibbs and Joe, were Alpha Omegas at The Westminster School and graduated from Williams College and Davidson College, respectively. Laura is delighted to share her experience with clients navigating the challenges of living in a big metropolitan city. Laura has always been active in her community, including serving as the first Executive Director of The Wren’s Nest Museum in West End Atlanta and as the Chair of the Cathedral Antiques Show at The Cathedral of St. Philip. Inspired by her love of antiques and design, Laura started her own art and antiques business, "Persimmon," located in Foxglove Antiques & Galleries. In addition to scouting out one-of-a-kind antiques, she and her husband love to spend time in Castine, Maine, where they have a 100+ year old log cabin overlooking the Penobscot Bay. Laura’s transition to Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty allows her to come full circle and share her knowledge and expertise with a new audience: buyers and sellers.
