Jake Halverson grew up in Maryland, attended college in Wisconsin studying Hospitality Management and has been pushing his way west since.
Landing in Portland in 2014, Jake served as the General Manager of the successful hotel brand opening, The Society Hotel. After a brief stint as General Manager of Hallmark Inns & Resort in Newport Oregon, overseeing the resort renovation, California came a calling. Jake, his partner Aaron, and their dog Striker moved for the opportunity so he could serve as the opening General Manager of The Thatcher Hotel in Hopland, California.
But again, the push west endured to Mendocino. Jake currently is the General Manager of the highly rated Mendocino Grove campground in Mendocino, California and enjoys the opportunity each summer to welcome guests to the coastal town.
As a hospitality industry leader and real estate transplant, Jake is truly motivated by people and the opportunity to positively impact their experience for the better. He understands that successful partnerships are based largely on emotion, so Jake strives to connect with his network through service and approaches the home buying and selling experience with a concierge lens. Jake knows this process is far from a vacation for his clients but that doesn't deter him from trying to make it feel that way.
