Rachel is a Bermuda native who brings knowledge and years of experience in sales, marketing, social media, drone piloting, photography, and luxury vacation villa management into her real estate career. She is a versatile agent who handles both residential and commercial sales and rentals, vacation rentals, as well as hotel tourism, recently co-lising the sale of Elbow Beach Hotel and Fritholme Gardens.
After graduating from McGill University in Montreal Canada in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Rachel embarked on an eclectic career path in between her global travels that span 40 countries and five continents.
Rachel began her professional journey in administration at a law firm, gaining office management skills and knowledge of Bermuda laws while saving for her travels. She later launched BermyDeals, a successful daily deals website and won awards for entrepreneurship while starting her broadcasting career as a weather presenter. After a detour to south and central America, she worked in broadcast media for the 35 th America’s Cup. Rachel then traveled South-East Asia, grew her social media following, and sharpened her skills as a photographer, writer, and drone operator. Upon her return, she published her debut novel, Runaways, to acclaim.
Next, she was approached to turn one of Bermuda’s most historic and remarkable waterfront properties into a luxury vacation villa and events space. ‘Sandymount’ quickly gained a following and became a dream destination itself hosting vacationers and weddings from its launch until the pandemic. While managing Sandymount, she honed her eye for detail, ability to understand of the needs and desires of those seeking luxury properties and luxury property marketing skills providing a natural transition into the world of real estate.
In 2023 she was awarded the Top Listing Agent and Top Selling Agent for Rego Sotheby’s International Realty.
